Fenerbahce have confirmed that Robin van Persie has joined the club from Manchester United.
Van Persie, 31, passed a medical in London and signed a three-year deal. Fenerbahce chairman Aziz Yildiram had claimed the deal was done on Saturday and Van Persie was mobbed by supporters when he arrived at Istanbul airport on Sunday before his unveiling on Tuesday.

The Netherlands captain has been reunited with his former United teammate Nani, who signed for Fenerbahce last week, in Turkey.
Van Persie cost United £24 million when he joined from Arsenal in 2012 but had just one year left on his contract and Fenerbahce reportedly only paid £4.7m to sign him.
The 2012 PFA Player of the Year and Footballer of the Year won the Premier League's Golden Boot in successive seasons, including his first year at Old Trafford.
He finished with 58 goals in 105 games for United but struck just 10 times last season when he lost his place as the first-choice striker to captain Wayne Rooney.
Van Persie's departure leaves United short of strikers after they opted not to buy on-loan Radamel Falcao, who subsequently signed for Chelsea.
Javier Hernandez, who went on loan to Real Madrid last season, is attracting interest from other clubs, with Orlando revealing he is a target for them.
Teenager James Wilson, who has only started three Premier League games, could be the only specialist alternative to Rooney but manager Van Gaal has said he believes winger Memphis Depay, who was the top scorer in the Dutch league last season, could operate as a striker.
