Iker Casillas' agent says he has not received any contact from Roma over the Real Madrid goalkeeper.
It remains unclear whether Casillas will leave the Bernabeu this summer as Madrid look to tie up a deal for Manchester United keeper David De Gea.
AS had previously reported that Roma are interested in the 34-year-old and Casillas' agent, Carlo Cutropia, was quoted as telling LaRoma24.it that the Giallorossi are "one of the best clubs in Europe," adding: "We are flattered by Roma's interest."
However, Cutropia later moved to clarify that there has been no contact with the Italian side, telling Marca: "I have not had any call."
He explained that he had "said that Rome was a great city, that Roma was a great team and that their fans were also great" but stressed that he was referring to his own experience living in the Italian capital.
AS had reported that Roma would have difficulty meeting Casillas' wage demands.
