Jason Dasey and Dez Corkhill reflect on Albirex Niigata's campaign after they clinched a second straight S.League title.

It was a disappointing end to the season for Stipe Plazibat as he missed out on the S.League Golden Boot after drawing blanks in a 0-0 draw for Home United against Tampines Rovers at Our Tampines Hub on Saturday night.

The Croatian had a goal disallowed in the first half, which would have seen him draw level on 26 for the season with Tsubasa Sano from champions Albirex Niigata (S).

The stalemate means that Tampines finish four points above Home in second spot, but eight points behind Albirex.

Sano moved to 26 goals to the season, one ahead of Plazibat. But the Croatian will have a chance to wrestle the crown back though, as Home United will face Tampines Rovers on Saturday night.

The White Swans had already sewn up the title two weeks ago, but...

Geylang International aim to spoil Albirex Niigata (S) victory party

Jason Dasey and Dez Corkhill reflect on Albirex Niigata's campaign after they clinched a second straight S.League title.

Geylang International are looking to spoil the title-winning party of Albirex Niigata (S) as the sides face off on Friday to begin the final week of the 2017 S.League season.

Albirex will be presented with the trophy after the game. But the Eagles still need a point to hold off nearest challengers Warriors FC, and finish in the top four for the first time in 14 years.

Fourth and fifth are the only positions yet to be decided. Tampines Rovers and Home United will be Singapore's representatives in...

Jason Dasey and John Wilkinson assess Singapore's upcoming November fixtures against Lebanon and Bahrain.

The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) is investigating an amateur league game which saw police forced to intervene after a mass brawl on Sunday night.

The incident occurred during a top-of-the-table clash in the National Football League (NFL) Division One match between SAFSA and Yishun Sentek Mariners, in which the former won 3-2 to leapfrog the latter.

FAS said in a statement: "The FAS does not condone any ungentlemanly behaviour that taints the name of our sport, and brings it into disrepute.
