Andreas Ivanschitz is likely to miss the Seattle Sounders' final two league matches after the club announced on Thursday he has a slight sprain of his right knee.

Ivanschitz, who was injured late in the Sounders' 0-0 draw against Houston Dynamo, is confirmed out for Seattle's game against first-place FC Dallas on Sunday, and interim boss Brian Schmetzer admitted the attacking midfielder is "probably doubtful" for next weekend's regular season finale against Real Salt Lake.]

[The Austrian playmaker has made 28 appearances for Seattle this season and is tied for the team lead in assists with eight.

"It's not easy to replace a guy like Andreas," Herculez Gomez said of Ivanschitz's injury. "He oozes quality."
