Hulk hits brace as Zenit St Petersburg beat CSKA to win Russian Cup

Hulk scored two penalties as Zenit St Petersburg beat CSKA Moscow 4-1 on Monday to win the Russian Cup for the first time since 2010.

Hulk opened the scoring from the spot in the 34th minute, but CSKA's Aaron Olanare struck back immediately, only to limp off injured soon after.

Striker Alexander Kokorin put Zenit ahead after the break, and then earned the game's second penalty shortly after when he burst into the box and was brought down by stalwart centre-back Vasily Berezutsky, who was sent off.

Hulk punished CSKA with his second penalty to make it 3-1 and, with Zenit in full control against the Russian Premier League leaders, midfielder Artur Yusupov added the fourth with a low strike.

"It's worth a lot, this day, and I'm really happy,'' Zenit striker Artyom Dzyuba said on television. "I'm going to celebrate it, but not a lot, and we will try to catch up with CSKA in the league."

Zenit are the reigning league champions but are fourth and sit four points behind CSKA with four games remaining.

Andre Villas-Boas is leaving as Zenit coach at the end of the season and will now depart having won all three Russian domestic trophies -- the cup, Premier League and Super Cup -- during his two years in charge.
