Cristiano Ronaldo says he is fit for Real Madrid return vs. Osasuna

Cristiano Ronaldo assured Real Madrid fans he is fit and ready to return to action on Saturday against Osasuna.

Ronaldo has been sidelined for the past two months by a thigh injury suffered during Euro 2016, but had been training with the club in recent days and, on Friday, told fans during an event to promote his cologne that he will be on the pitch for the Spanish Primera Division match.

"I am fine, I am going to play," the Portugal international said.

Media reports in Spain have said that Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane will use his star forward for a short period in Saturday's match to test his recovery.

Ronaldo was named UEFA Best Player in Europe last month. He captained Portugal to the title at Euro 2016, although he was taken off injured during the final.
