Gareth Bale and Toni Kroos back with Real Madrid team after Euro break

Toni Kroos and Gareth Bale have returned to training with Real Madrid following a break after their participation at Euro 2016.

Real released a video on the club's website that showed the Wales and Germany internationals participating in small-sided games and drills with the first team ahead of Tuesday's Santiago Bernabeu Trophy match against Stade de Reims.

Bale helped Wales to the semifinals of the European Championship in France, where his team lost out to teammate Cristiano Ronaldo and eventual winners Portugal. Kroos was part of the German team that lost to France in the other semifinal.

Ronaldo was also seen at training, although the Portuguese star only participated in light jogging alongside countrymen Pepe and Fabio Coentrao.

According to a report on Marca, Karim Benzema, who played in a substitute role during Real's 3-2 UEFA Super Cup win against Sevilla, trained indoors as he continues to recover from a hip injury that cut short the end of his 2015-16 season.

Real open their Primera Division campaign on Aug. 21 away to Real Sociedad.
