Real Madrid have announced that Pepe's recovery will "continue to be assessed" as he looks to return from a foot problem.
The injury forced Pepe, 32, to sit out of Sunday's 6-0 defeat of Espanyol, with Madrid giving an update on Tuesday of the player's condition.

"After new tests carried out today on the player Pepe at the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital, the Real Madrid medical services have decide to continue the recovery work on the plantar fascia discomfort in his right foot over the coming days," a Madrid statement read.
"His recovery will continue to be assessed."
Madrid next face Granada in La Liga on Sunday, yet it remains to be seen if Pepe will recover in time.
The Portugal international has made 17 appearances in all competitions for Madrid this season.
