Sergio Ramos returns to Real Madrid training after injury

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has returned to training after recovering from a shoulder injury, he has announced on Twitter.

Ramos was sidelined after dislocated his left shoulder in the 4-0 Champions League Group A win at home to Shakhtar Donetsk on Sept. 15.

The captain, who had hoped to return in time to travel to Athletic Bilbao eight days later, wrote on Twitter that he was "back" and "about to return to training with the team."

The Malmo game saw Cristiano Ronaldo equal the all-time goalscoring record at Real Madrid, but the forward gave mixed messages over his future, saying: "Nobody knows what will happen next year."

Ronaldo's brace in the 2-0 win saw him match former Madrid striker Raul Gonzalez's record tally of 323 goals for the club after just 308 games.

But the 30-year-old's future at the Bernabeu has been a subject of speculation, with Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United credited with an interest in him.
