More than 32 percent of respondents to a poll run by Spanish newspaper AS have said Real Madrid should drop Cristiano Ronaldo from their attacking lineup.
The poll asked which of Madrid's "BBC" frontline of Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema should make way if coach Carlo Ancelotti returned to a 4-4-2 formation.
Over 90 percent of respondents called on Ancelotti to switch back -- and although Bale was the man most wanted to see make way, attracting 46.1 percent of the vote, Ronaldo surprisingly took almost one-third at 32.2 percent.
Only 21.7 percent wanted to see in-form France international Benzema make way.
AS asked the question as it analysed how the form of Real's superstar front three has tailed off since the La Liga winter break.

The first 15 league matches of the season saw them contribute 39 goals, with Ronaldo scoring 24, Benzema eight and Bale seven at an average of 2.6 a game, the paper said.
But the 10 most recent games have seen only 13 goals from the trio, with Ronaldo and Benzema contributing five and Bale three.
Ancelotti has said his attacking stars have recently been playing too individually.
Bale's most recent goal, against Cordoba in January six games ago, came from the penalty spot, with stats showing that the Wales international has had an average of one shot on target per game in the calendar year so far.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo's shots on target have fallen from 3.7 per game before Christmas to 1.4 in the matches since.
Benzema, however, is maintaining an average of 0.5 goals a game, with his shots per match averaging 1.4 in 2015.
