Massimo Luongo pens new contract with Queens Park Rangers

Massimo Luongo has re-signed with English Championship side Queens Park Rangers, keeping the midfielder at Loftus Road until mid-2020.

The 24-year-old joined QPR from Swindon Town in 2015, going on to make 59 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops.

Luongo revealed recently that he regularly snubs big-money offers from China to continue his pursuit of a Premier League career.

In 2015, the Australia international rejected a switch to then Premier League side Aston Villa in favour of regular club football at relegated QPR.

"I've enjoyed my time at QPR so I'm really pleased to have signed this new deal," Luongo told QPR's website.

"The next few years will be really important in my career, and hopefully I can build on the progress I feel I've already made with QPR."
