QPR have announced assistant manager David Oldfield will be overseeing first-team training until the club names Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's replacement.
Hasselbaink was sacked as Rangers boss on Saturday following a 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest, with the London outfit lying 17th in the Championship.
Their next fixture is a home clash with Norwich on November 19.
A statement on QPR's official website on Tuesday said: "David Oldfield will take charge of first-team training on Wednesday... [and] until the club appoints a full-time successor to Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
"The club will be making no further comment at this time.''
