FA fines QPR £7,500 for confronting referee in win at Fulham

QPR have been fined £7,500 by the Football Association for failing to control their players during the recent 2-1 win at Fulham.

Referee Lee Mason awarded Fulham a penalty in the fifth minute of time added on for Nedum Onuoha's alleged foul on Jozabed and was surrounded by QPR players who protested against his decision.

"Queens Park Rangers have been fined £7,500 and warned as to their future conduct after admitting an FA misconduct charge," the FA said.

"Club failed to ensure players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion in the 95th minute of the game against Fulham on October 1, 2016."

QPR claimed all three points after Fulham striker Sone Aluko's spot kick hit the post.

A statement on QPR's official website read: "QPR have admitted to the charge and been fined £7,500 and warned as to our future conduct.

"The club will be making no further comment."
