Zamora scored the last-minute goal that earned Harry Redknapp's men a Championship playoff final win over Derby in May, granting them an instant return to the Premier League.

It had initially looked like the 33-year-old might not be going back to the top flight with them, but manager Harry Redknapp has secured the striker's services for another season.

"I'm over the moon," Zamora told the club's official website after agreeing to stay until the summer of 2015.

"I've had an up-and-down time at QPR. I started off really well but then picked up a couple of injuries and didn't perform as well as I wanted to.

"But at the end of last year, after coming back following injury, I thought whenever I was called upon to do a job, I did it well.

"I'm pleased to be fit again now with another chance to prove myself in the best league in the world.

"I still feel I've got something to prove to the fans and I still think I've got it in me to do a great job."#INSERT type:inline END#

Zamora has made 59 appearances since joining QPR from Fulham, scoring 11 times, with his most recent goal that won promotion worth an estimated 100 million pounds.
