Mustafi 5/10, Koscielny 8/10 as Arsenal hang on to win at Huddersfield

Arsenal were unconvincing again after a scrappy 2-1 win at Huddersfield.

Arsenal survived a late scare as they beat struggling Huddersfield 2-1. A deflected strike from Alex Iwobi and a tap-in for Alexandre Lacazette were ultimately enough for Arsenal to secure a valuable victory on the road.

Given the players absent through injury and illness, Unai Emery will be relieved to take the three points. The likes of Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding, Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka and Sokratis Papastathopoulos would all surely have been involved had they been available.

Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny back in training; Bellerin knee surgery a success

La Liga correspondent Sid Lowe joins the show to talk Denis Suarez and what type of impact he'll have at Arsenal.

Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny is back in full training ahead of Sunday's Premier League game at Manchester City after scans confirmed he had not fractured his jaw.

Koscielny was caught by a stray boot from Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku in the FA Cup defeat last week, and did not play in Arsenal's Premier League home win over Cardiff on Tuesday.

Arsenal said scans had shown only "bruising and soft tissue swelling" to Koscielny's face and jaw, giving manager Unai...

Sokratis out for a month to add to Arsenal injury crisis, Koscielny jaw being assessed

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's magnificent start as Manchester United's caretaker manager continued in the FA Cup as his side swept aside Arsenal, at The Emirates.
Stewart Robson examines what Arsenal have left to play for this season after their FA Cup exit, while Craig Burley says they need to think big picture.

Arsenal have said they will be without defender Sokratis for a month, while captain Laurent Koscielny is being reviewed on a daily basis after suffering a suspected broken jaw.

The Gunners face an injury crisis after the two injuries in Friday's home FA Cup fourth-round defeat to Manchester United left them with only one fit recognised central defender.

Sokratis was replaced after 21 minutes after appearing to twist his left ankle, while Koscielny took a blow to the face from Romelu Lukaku and had...

Arsenal's Koscielny, Iwobi and Emery only worth 4/10 for loss at Southampton

A Danny Ings brace and a late Charlie Austin winner helped Southampton triumph over Arsenal, ending the Gunner's four-month unbeaten run.
Alexis Nunes and Shaka Hislop break down Arsenal's surprising loss to Southampton and determine if more defensive struggles are on the horizon for the Gunners.

Arsenal's 22-match unbeaten run came to a screeching halt with a 3-2 loss at Southampton on Sunday.

The hosts took full advantage of the Gunners' makeshift defence to give new manager Ralph Hasenhuttl a first Premier League victory. All three Southampton goals came from crosses into the box, with Danny Ings heading in the first two and Charlie Austin netting the winner in the 85th minute.

Arsenal managed to level the match twice through two Henrikh Mkhitaryan goals but couldn't find a third equaliser...

Youngster Eddie Nketiah impresses, Laurent Koscielny and Mesut Ozil return vs. Qarabag

LONDON-Arsenal closed out their Europa League group campaign with a 1-0 win over Qarabag at the Emirates on Thursday, with Alexandre Lacazette's first-half goal the only bright spot in an otherwise drab affair.

Lacazette received a pass from Mesut Ozil in the area and did well to cut away from a defender before slotting a low shot under goalkeeper Vagner in the 16th minute.

Arsenal had already clinched first place in the group while Qarabag had no chance of advancing, making this essentially...

Arsenal ease Laurent Koscielny injury setback fears as first-team return nears

Arsenal have dismissed fears that captain Laurent Koscielny suffered an injury setback during an appearance for the under-21s on Tuesday, saying he had come through "without complications."

Koscielny, stepping up his recovery from a torn Achilles tendon, played 85 minutes of the 2-1 Checkatrade Trophy loss at Portsmouth before limping off.

It was Koscielny's second appearance of the season after 45 minutes for the U23s last week.

However, coach Freddie Ljungberg told the Islington Gazette...
