Leeds' Giuseppe Bellusci charged with racist abuse to Cameron Jerome

Leeds defender Giuseppe Bellusci has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association for alleged racist comments directed towards Norwich striker Cameron Jerome.

The incident occurred in the Championship match between the two sides at Carrow Road on Tuesday, Oct. 21, which finished 1-1, when Jerome complained to referee Mark Clattenburg that he was verbally abused by the 25-year-old Italian midway through the first half following a confrontation between the two players.

Cameron Jerome signs for Norwich

Jerome spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace.

Norwich have confirmed the signing of Stoke striker Cameron Jerome, who has signed a three-year deal at Carrow Road.

The transfer of the 28-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace, is thought to be worth around one and a half million pounds.

He becomes the third striker to be recruited by manager Neil Adams, who has already brought Lewis Grabban and Kyle Lafferty to the Norfolk club.

Crystal Palace have signed Stoke striker Cameron Jerome on loan for the remainder of the 2013/14 season.

The Potters confirmed the move in the early hours of Tuesday morning in what was one of the last moves to come out of a frantic transfer deadline day.
