The Slippery Fish might be back in the River City but Brisbane defender Jade North is unsure when Henrique will make an A-League return for the Roar.

Former Brisbane Roar winger Henrique Silva is following in the footsteps of Mark Bridge by leaving the A-League for big spending Chiang Rai United in Thailand.

Adelaide United attacker Henrique looks set to join Thai club Chiangrai United.

Adelaide United are bracing to lose another recruit with attacker Henrique on the cusp of moving to Thailand.

But the struggling Reds are believed to be closing in on signing Senegalese striker Papa Babacar Diawara, known as Baba.

The 29-year-old free agent has spent stints with Sevilla in Spain's and Maritimo in Portugal's Primeira Liga.

Adelaide United have been dealt a blow with boom A-League recruit Henrique sidelined for at least six weeks with a grade two medial ligament injury.
