SINGAPORE -- Chelsea winger Kenedy has been sent home from the club's preseason tour after posting offensive comments about China on social media.

The Premier League champions issued a bilingual statement which read: "Chelsea FC can confirm that Kenedy has returned to the UK and will play no further part in the club's pre-season tour of Asia."

The 21-year-old Brazilian was widely booed during Chelsea's match with Arsenal in Beijing's on Saturday after his insulting Instagram messages were shared.
