Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa thanks Granada fans

Guillermo Ochoa has thanked Granada supporters following the end of his loan spell at the club, which was relegated in April.

The Mexico international goalkeeper played every minute of every La Liga game for Granada after joining the Andalusian outfit from Malaga last summer.

The former Ajaccio star said he is hugely grateful for the backing the Granada fans gave him over the past 12 months.

Geronimo Rulli hints at Manchester City return upon Real Sociedad arrival

Geronimo Rulli appeared to suggest he could play at Manchester City in the future as he arrived to start the 2016-17 season at Real Sociedad.

Rulli, 24, who has played for La Real on loan from Uruguayan club SD Maldonado for the last two seasons, was bought by City earlier this summer for an undisclosed fee only to be immediately loaned back to the La Liga outfit.

Manchester City are closing in on the signing of Deportivo Maldonado goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli, according to the player.

Rulli, 24, who is preparing for the Olympics with Argentina, has spent the past two seasons on loan at La Liga side Real Sociedad from Uruguayan club Deportivo.
