Christian Gentner and Daniel Ginczek sign new Stuttgart contracts

Stuttgart captain Christian Gentner and forward Daniel Ginczek have both extended their contracts at the Bundesliga strugglers, only days before their relegation to the 2.Bundesliga could be confirmed.

Stuttgart need to win at Wolfsburg on Saturday and hope that Eintracht Frankfurt beat Werder Bremen to move out of the bottom two.

Stuttgart's Daniel Ginczek to miss rest of 2015 with operation on slipped disc

Daniel Ginczek has struggled for form so far this season, and will not return for Stuttgart before January.

Stuttgart forward Daniel Ginczek will miss the rest of 2015 after being told he needs an operation on his back.

Ginczek, 24, suffered a slipped disc prior to the Swabians' 2-2 draw at Hoffenheim on Oct. 3 in their last Bundesliga fixture before the international break.

Ginczek leaves Dortmund for Nurnberg

Borussia Dortmund forward Daniel Ginczek has become the latest Nurnberg signing for the 2013-14 season.

Ginczek joined Dortmund as a teenager in 2007
Ginczek spent last season in Bundesliga.2

During a one-year loan at second tier team St Pauli, Ginczek scored 18 goals in 31 games. He joins Nurnberg for a reported fee of €1.5 million on a contract which will run until the summer of 2016.
