Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku hints at Serie A move, praises Juventus

Romelu Lukaku scored twice in Belgium's win over Switzerland, but the FC crew observe an inconsistency in front of goal for the Man United star.

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku says he is open to a move to Italy in the future.

Lukaku, 25, is into his second season at Old Trafford following his £75 million move from Everton in 2017 but has admitted he would like to test himself in Serie A.

"Why not? I hope so," Lukaku told La Gazzetta dello Sport when asked if he would like to play in Italy.

Lukaku will come up against the Italian champions next week when United host Juventus in the Champions League.

It means a return...

Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku Man United's 'worst' in prideless defeat to West Ham

Jose Mourinho's in the hot seat following another disappointing performance, as Man United fell 3-1 to West Ham.
With the pressure mounting on Man United boss Jose Mourinho, he refused to blame his players after a dismal display versus West Ham.
Craig Burley doesn't hold back on his feelings about Jose Mourinho and their spineless display against West Ham.

On the back of an awful week, Manchester United really needed a result away to West Ham. Apparently nobody let the players know that, with them suffering a second embarrassing defeat. The home team were well deserving of their 3-1 win as they came racing out the blocks. United were fast asleep for the first 10 minutes or more and went a goal down thanks to Felipe Anderson, courtesy of something that resembled what you'd see when the juniors took on the infants on the playground.

United got back...

Sergio Romero's error, Romelu Lukaku's wastefulness cost Man United vs. Derby

Frank Lampard's Derby County picked up an incredible come-from-behind win over reeling Manchester United in the Carabao Cup thanks in part to a Phil Jones penalty shootout miss.

The Carabao Cup saw Manchester United host Derby County, with Jose Mourinho against his former player Frank Lampard -- but, sadly for United, the master succumbed to the apprentice Tuesday. United's loss -- Derby winning 8-7 on penalties after a 2-2 draw in normal time -- was worryingly deserved, with Derby ultimately providing not only much more desire but much more attacking guile than the home side managed to summon. One wonders how Mourinho will react to this outing.

Goal of the weekend

We have the "most valuable player" conversation quite a lot, but if the Premier League was to introduce an award for the player upon whom his team leans most, Wilfried Zaha would be a shoo-in. The Crystal Palace forward had done little vs. Huddersfield -- beyond having his ankle nearly snapped by Mathias Jorgensen -- when, seven minutes before half-time, he cut in from the left and lashed a shot...
