Tottenham's Danny Rose: I don't feel it's an honour to play at Wembley anymore

Tottenham goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga tells ESPN about his family relationship with Mauricio Pochettino.

Danny Rose says it no longer feels like an honour to play at Wembley after Tottenham faced Southampton in front of 57,000 empty seats on Wednesday night.

Just 33,012 people turned out to watch Wednesday's 3-1 victory at the 90,000-seater arena -- the lowest attendance for a Premier League home match at the national stadium since Spurs began their residency there.

"It's just not nice anymore," Rose said. "I don't feel it's an honour to play at Wembley anymore. We're all itching to get in the...

Tottenham should take inspiration from Real Madrid win to beat Barcelona - Danny Rose

Danny Rose has said Tottenham need to produce a repeat of their victory over Real Madrid when they host Barcelona, stressing that it is a must-win match.

Spurs drew 1-1 at the Bernabeu in last season's Champions League group stage before beating the European champions 3-1 at Wembley.

Tottenham are now preparing for the visit of Barca, and after losing their first Champions League match this season 2-1 to Inter Milan, Rose said his side need another giant-killing performance.

"We went to the Bernabeu...

Harry Kane returns to form as Tottenham cruise past Huddersfield Town

Two first-half goals from Harry Kane gave Spurs a comfortable win against an out of form Huddersfield Town. The home team started brightly but gradually Tottenham asserted themselves and made their dominance tell. Spurs again had the better of the second half but, with one eye on Wednesday's Champions League against Barcelona, understandably eased off a bit and were content to play out time.

Danny Rose 8/10 as Spurs show their character with win at Brighton

Tottenham Hotspur bounced back from a string of poor results to secure a hard-fought 1-2 win over Brighton & Hove Albion.

Tottenham passed a character test as they ended their three-match losing run with a hard-fought, 2-1 win at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Spurs had thrown away two second-half leads during their sequence of defeats -- against Watford and Inter Milan, respectively -- and had conceded four goals from set pieces in their previous three games. Sure enough, after taking the lead through a 42nd-minute Harry Kane penalty, they found themselves defending a series of free kicks and corners, with heavyweights...

England's Danny Rose: Players held inquest after 'embarrassing' first half vs. Switzerland

England defender Danny Rose has revealed the players did not hold back from criticising each other at half-time following a bad start to Tuesday's win over Switzerland.

England, who made nine changes to the starting line-up for the friendly in Leicester, allowed Switzerland to control the match in the first half but returned much sharper to secure the 1-0 win through forward Marcus Rashford's 54th-minute strike.

"It was a bit embarrassing," Tottenham Hotspur left-back Rose told BBC Radio 5 live....

Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld, Mousa Dembele, Danny Rose can all reclaim first-team spot - Pochettino

Harry Kane scored an August goal for the first time in his career, adding to goals from Lucas Moura and Kieran Trippier in Spurs' win over Fulham.

Mauricio Pochettino has said he is planning for the season with Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele at the club.

The trio have been linked with moves away from Spurs this summer, but with the European transfer window closing next Friday, time is running out for them to leave before it shuts.

Pochettino, who has said before that he only wants to work with players who want to be at Tottenham, said all three will be able to fight for their places in the first team again.

"I expect all the...
