Kylian Mbappe grabbed the headlines after scoring two second-half goals in Paris Saint-Germain's 3-1 win at Guingamp, but the teenager gave credit to Neymar, who had a goal and an assist.
Mbappe, still getting up to speed after France's World Cup triumph, spent the first half on the bench before coming in for Timothy Weah with PSG trailing 1-0.
Neymar equalised with a penalty eight minutes later and Mbappe put PSG ahead on 82 minutes, before Neymar set him up for the club's third goal late on.
And Mbappe said there's only one major attraction in the French champions' squad.
"Neymar is a superstar, more than me. He worked a lot in Barcelona for that," Mbappe told Canal+. "With a goal and an assist, it is not bad either. I try to bring what I can and help the team win."
Mbappe also said he was prepared to leave the highs of the World Cup win behind as PSG focus on the new season.
"We won, we celebrated but football continues, my career begins, I have very high goals with Paris, with the team of France and at the individual level," he said. We don't have time to sit around."
PSG boss Thomas Tuchel was not pleased with his side's performance in the first half, as Nolan Roux prodded Guingamp ahead on 20 minutes, but hailed the difference that Mbappe made on the game.
"It's not possible to start playing a game as we played in the first half. We were not ready for this game here," Tuchel said. "It was clear that Guingamp is a very intensive team that plays with courage and a lot of individual qualities, many aerial battles. We were not ready for that, not at all. And we were lucky that the result was not 2-0 or 3-0 [at half-time].
"And that's why we changed a few things, Kylian, with the organisation, but, most importantly, with another approach to the game.
"There were a lot of problems with our organisation to attack, to defend, and on the other hand the situation is still complicated for us because the players are not in top shape because they arrived late after the World Cup. That's why it's important that we win our match, but today it was very difficult."
Giungamp thought they had a second goal before the break, but Nicolas Benezet's header was ruled out following a VAR review for a foul in the buildup.
"There are two disappointments. The first is the first half where we can return to the locker room with 2-0," Guingamp boss Antoine Kombouare said. "Afterwards, it's up to the referee and we saw that it was against us.
"And the second disappointment is to have [conceded] the goal too early. That they scored very quickly [after half-time], it gave us a blow on the head.
"And after, what we can see is that we had given a lot in the first half, we left a lot of strength, and in the second half with their mastery, offensively it hurt us very much and they could do what it takes to score three goals."
Guingamp president Bertrand Desplat was furious at the VAR decision.
"Above all, I'll say it wasn't a great night for video refereeing," Desplat said. "You can see there's an enormous amount of progress to be made and French refereeing will have to get quickly up to speed, because you can't ruin great evenings like this."
