PSG missing four players for Coupe de France vs. Marseille

PARIS -- Paris Saint-Germain will be without superstar Neymar, Marquinhos, Dani Alves and Alphonse Areola against Marseille in the Coupe de France quarterfinals at Parc des Princes on Wednesday.

Coach Unai Emery confirmed during his news conference on Tuesday that Neymar would be unable to feature in the squad after picking up an injury in the Ligue 1 leaders' 3-0 win over OM in Le Championnat just days before.

PSG are now in a race against time to get the Brazil international back fit in time for the Champions League round-of-16 second leg at home to Real Madrid and he is almost certain to miss the league trip to Troyes this weekend as well as OM in midweek.

As well as Neymar, Marquinhos is also missing after picking up an injury last weekend and like his fellow Brazilian, he too is in a race against time to be fit for Real.

Elsewhere for Emery, Alphonse Areola is out of the squad for unspecified reasons -- Kevin Trapp is the domestic cup starter anyway -- and youth academy graduate Stanley N'Soki is out injured.

Dani Alves is suspended, while Hatem Ben Arfa was not considered for a squad role -- as has been the case all season.

PSG are expected to go strong against their bitter rivals in Le Classique round two after winning the first last weekend with deep rotation expected to happen against Troyes just days before Real.
