Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe has beaten Manchester United's Anthony Martial and Marseille's Maxime Lopez to Telefoot's best young French player award.
The prize, in its second edition, was given to Mbappe after 12 months that have seen him capture the attention of the footballing world, becoming a senior France international while at Monaco before returning to Paris to sign for boyhood club PSG.
Speaking to Telefoot, Mbappe, who will only turn 19 later this week, said: "Yes, it is another trophy -- we are never satisfied. It is always a pleasure and an honour to be able to win an award like this. It brings me great satisfaction and I hope to win another."
Mbappe, who scored one goal and assisted two more in PSG's 4-2 win away at Stade Rennes in Ligue 1 last weekend, singled out "winning the league with Monaco and my PSG move" as 2017's "two most significant events," which enabled him to "win this prize."
On his 2017-18 campaign so far, Mbappe said that it has been "positive and that there have been good things" but that "I always feel that I can still do better."
"I try to work every single day to get better," he added. "Even if this is not a bad start."
Mbappe said that "a Champions League win and a World Cup success" would make 2018 superb.
PSG have been drawn to face Real Madrid in the round of 16 of the Champions League and the tie will pit Mbappe against one of his favourite teams.
Mbappe says Unai Emery's men are capable of knocking out the defending champions.
"Of course, PSG can do this," Mbappe said. "If we do not believe that, who else is going to believe that? Of course we can. We know that it will not be easy, though. We are going to work until February to be ready when the moment arrives.
"I reacted naturally to the draw. To win the Champions League, you must face and beat the best teams. Real are one of those best teams. This will be a big match and it will be up to us to be at the right level and prove all of our qualities."
Madrid's Sergio Ramos also spoke with Telefoot over the weekend and gave his opinion on Mbappe choosing to play for PSG over his side this summer.
"Everybody plays where they want to," the Spain international said. "[Mbappe] has chosen a marvellous city and PSG, who are a very good team."
Ramos then turned his attention to the Champions League draw and PSG, who he says are stronger this season.
"They strengthened well over the summer," he said. "They have found some balance, which is necessary if you want to win a Champions League title. They looked good in the group stage, a very good team and very competitive. Clearly they are a team capable of winning the title. We will see but clearly they are rivals who will put up a fight."
Ramos added that "it is a privilege to be here in the best club in the world" and vowed that he and his teammates will "do everything to win the Champions League again."
SG and Madrid will meet in the Champions League round of 16 in mid-February at the Santiago Bernabeu and then again at Parc des Princes in early March.
