Mexican club Pachuca could enter partnership with Paris Saint-Germain

The president of Mexican side Pachuca has met Paris Saint-Germain officials during his tour of Europe to discuss "a mutually beneficial sporting partnership."

PSG have been reported to be considering moving into the Mexican market in recent years, with a summer friendly against Club America at the Estadio Azteca having been mooted at one point.

"As part of his European tour, our president, Jesus Martinez, and our sporting director, Marco Garces, visited PSG's facilities," a Pachuca statement on Facebook said.

"There, they were welcomed by Antero Henrique and Jean-Claude Blanc, PSG's sporting director and director-general, as well as Jaime Teixeira and Pierre Arrighi.

"Our executives visited Parc des Princes with the objective of establishing a mutually beneficial sporting partnership between the two clubs for the future."

It is unclear whether Pachuca would become a satellite club.

PSG have been looking at partnerships with several clubs in Belgium recently, with the idea of sending out their most talented youngsters.
