Paris Saint-Germain coach Unai Emery has said he is happy with the French champions ahead of their Coupe de France quarterfinal against third-tier Avranches at Caen's Stade Michel d'Ornano.
Speaking with journalists at Camp des Loges ahead of Wednesday's match, Emery said he is not thinking about his future beyond the end of the season but is content in the French capital.
"Before anything else, I am thinking about the present," Emery said when questioned about is desire to continue as PSG coach next campaign. "This is a very important thing to do.
"The team are doing well at the moment and will finish the season well. Ligue 1 is difficult and it has been a great challenge so far.
"My intentions have not changed, I am happy here, I want to develop and improve. I work as if I am going to spend the rest of my life here."
Although they are two leagues apart in the French system, Emery rejected the idea that Les Parisiens will not be taking their semi-professional opponents seriously.
"We have analysed Avranches' style of play through some videos of them," he said. "They are a team that deserves its place in the quarterfinals.
"They have knocked out Ligue 2 sides like Laval and Strasbourg in previous rounds. They are very motivated. We respect this team like any other. Our aim is to put in a beautiful display on the pitch."
Emery confirmed that the joint-record 10-time winners and current defending champions will be without Marquinhos, Angel Di Maria and Grzegorz Krychowiak and captain Thiago Silva in Caen on Wednesday.
"Marquinhos, Thiago and Grzegorz are all injured," Emery said. "Angel will not be travelling. The group will consist of 19 players."
Having just beaten Ligue 1 title rivals Monaco 4-1 in the Coupe de la Ligue final on Saturday; the sides could meet again in the Coupe de France if both progress to the semifinals.
