Paris Saint-Germain coach Unai Emery has indicated that captain Thiago Silva could start at home to Arsenal in the Champions League, saying: "Big matches are for big players."
Silva has not featured since the French champions' win over Real Madrid in the International Champions Cup in July after injuring his hip.
"We will decide after the final training session," Emery said at his prematch press conference on Monday.
"We will see how he feels. The most important thing is if he feels ready. He is a big player. If he feels good, it is a possibility. Big matches are for big players."
Emery, whose side have lost 3-1 at Monaco and drawn 1-1 at home with St Etienne in their last two Ligue 1 games, said he expected "a difficult match" against the Gunners.
"They are a different team with different players, a different system and a different idea of how to play football," he said. "They are a good team, the strongest in the group along with us.
"I expect a great match and I hope that we will put in a great performance against this great team. The most important thing will be to capitalise when we are in possession of the ball."
Emery said he was a fan of opposite number Arsene Wenger, praising the Frenchman for his longevity at the North London club.
"I have been attending UEFA coach meetings for years now, and I admire him," he added. "I admire his work and the fact that he has been there for such a long time. Everyone would love the possibility to be like Wenger."
PSG midfielder Marco Verratti also said he was looking forward to the match, adding that Arsenal "have a lot of talented individuals and technically gifted players who can be very dangerous."
"We know what we need to do in order to put them under pressure," he said. "If we are not at 110 percent immediately, then we will struggle.
"I am happy to be playing Arsenal. We are here to play this sort of match at home and in front of our fans."
