PSG's Lucas Moura to miss at least six matches after undergoing hip surgery

PARIS -- Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas will be out for a minimum of four weeks after an operation to treat a right hip muscle injury, ruling him out of at least six matches.

Lucas has been sidelined since limping off against Caen on Feb. 14, and missed last week's home leg against Chelsea in the last 16 of the Champions League.

The club said he had a successful operation in Qatar.

Lucas misses the return leg against Chelsea on March 11, a further four French league games -- including Sunday's trip to Monaco -- and the French Cup quarterfinal, which is also against Monaco.

PSG, which is in second to Lyon in the Ligue 1 standings, hopes to have him for the match at title rival Marseille on April 4.
