Zlatan Ibrahimovic angry at second place on list of Swedish athletes

Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reacted angrily to coming second in a newspaper poll of Sweden's greatest sporting stars.

Swedish paper Dagens Nyheter ranked the country's top 150 athletes from across the sporting spectrum, and Ibrahimovic, 33, finished runner-up to five-time Wimbledon tennis champion Bjorn Borg.

"Thank you but to finish second is like finishing last," the former AC Milan forward, who has won domestic titles in five different European countries, replied when asked for his thoughts by the paper.

When asked who he would have put at the top of the poll, Ibrahimovic replied: "On that list I would have been No. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, with due respect to the others."

Of Borg, the formidable PSG striker -- who was voted Sweden's footballer of the year for the ninth time earlier this year -- said: "He is a cool person and a living legend."

Ibrahimovic has struggled with a heel injury all season, but played in PSG's 0-0 home draw with Montpellier on Saturday which sees the Ligue 1 champions finish 2014 third in the tale behind Lyon and Marseille.
