Paris Saint-Germain keeper Salvatore Sirigu signs three-year extension

PARIS -- Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu has signed a three-year contract extension keeping him at the club until 2018.

The 27-year-old Sirigu joined PSG in 2011 from Serie A club Palermo and is regarded as one of the best keepers in the French league.

Sirigu said: "I wanted to continue this incredible adventure, both on a sporting and on a human level, with Paris Saint-Germain. We are going to win a lot of titles together."

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi called Sirigu "a symbol of the Paris Saint-Germain project: to build one of the most successful clubs in Europe."
