Coach Micho Sredojevic's overhaul of Orlando Pirates continues at pace as the club prepares for an assault on the League title next season, as well as a return to the CAF Champions League.
Pirates have already made nine new signings to bolster their squad, confirming only the departure of left-back Marc van Heerden so far.
Sredojevic has also moved to bolster his technical team with what could be more key additions, including a new head of performance in Frenchman Franck Plaine.
Plaine comes with experience of working across the globe, including four years spent as a physical trainer for the French Football Federation, and in the same role with top Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain.
He later took up a role with the Qatar-based Aspire Academy and the junior national teams in that country, and was most recently head of performance for the Football Association of Malaysia.
His role will be a key one this season as Pirates manage the workload of the domestic season, coupled with a Champions League campaign that starts in November and ends in May, putting huge pressure on their fixture commitments.
Should they get to the business end of the continental competition, then recovery and player management will be a massive aspect of their season.
Sredojevic has also expanded his analysis department with the acquisition of Darian Wilken from fellow Premiership side AmaZulu. He joins Kyle Solomon and Michael Loftman in an expanded team that will provide the coach with information on his own players and the opposition.
As previously reported on KweséESPN, Pirates have also confirmed that Welshman Andrew Sparkes has joined the club from Swansea City as goalkeeper coach, replacing Ivica Vukusic.
