Alex Morgan and Orlando City players removed from Epcot by police

Police told a group including U.S. women's national team star Alex Morgan and several Orlando City players to leave a Disney World theme park on Sunday.

An Orange County Sheriff's Office incident report on Tuesday said deputies escorted a "highly impaired" Morgan, who plays in the NWSL for the Orlando Pride, MLS players Giles Barnes and Donny Toia, and Toia's wife, Courtney, from Epcot after an argument at a restaurant.

"As we passed Spaceship Earth, I observed several people being escorted to the front," of the park's U.K. pub, a deputy wrote in the report, as quoted by TMZ and the Orlando Sentinel. "They were all being very loud and belligerent toward staff around guests.

"I observed a white female, who was later identified as Alexandria Morgan yelling, screaming and taken [sic] video and possibly pictures. She appeared to be highly impaired.

"Deputy Johnson heard Ms. Morgan make a loud verbal statement that she knows the Orlando SWAT team."

Morgan had posted a photo of the group on Instagram on Sunday that was captioned "Annual around the world in 8 hours. No big." Her arm is around her husband, Orlando City midfielder Servando Carrasco. Also tagged in the photo were Orlando City players Dom Dwyer, Joe Bendik, Dillon Powers and Sebastian Hines.

The incident began when Barnes, a Jamaica international who previously played for Derby County and West Brom in England, cut in front of another patron and was escorted outside after an argument ensued.

Donny Toia was aggressive toward both staff and police until a deputy spun him around by the arm, at which point he cooperated, according to the report, which also said all three players were "being belligerent, with screaming and yelling."

Morgan, Barnes and the Toias were all given trespass warnings, but no charges were filed.

Before the police report was released, Orlando City, which also runs the Pride, released a statement to the Sentinel that said: "The Orlando City SC organization is aware of a situation that occurred at Walt Disney World's Epcot theme park earlier this week and is awaiting official communication from Disney or the Orange County Police Department.

"The club will address the matter internally when there is a full understanding of what occurred."

Both Orlando City and the Pride last played on Saturday. The MLS club is off until Oct. 15 during the FIFA international break.

The Pride open the NWSL playoffs in the semifinals this Saturday in Portland, and coach Tom Sermanni said on Tuesday that he expects Morgan to play.
