Nigeria won their first Under-23 African Nations' Cup title by defeating Algeria 2-1 on Saturday.
The tournament's top scorer Oghenekaro Etebo added two to his tally and finished with five goals in five games.
Etebo opened the scoring in the 13th minute by drawing a foul in the box and converting from the spot, but a Segun Oduduwa own goal brought Algeria back level on the half-hour.
Nigeria retook the lead again before half-time when Etebo struck again, and Nigeria keeper Emmanuel Daniel stopped a Zinedine Ferhat penalty after the break to secure the title.
By reaching the final, both teams qualified for next summer's Olympics.
