The Newcastle Jets have signed Serbian striker Milos Trifunovic for the new A-League season, completing the club's foreign quota of players.
The 30-year-old Trifunovic joins the Jets from Serbian club Radnicki Nis, having previously played in China, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
He is Newcastle's fifth foreign-born player, joining Brazilian midfielder Leonardo, fellow Serbian Enver Alivodic, former Western Sydney midfielder Mateo Poljak of Croatia and South Korean defender Lee Ki-je.
The Jets open the 2015-16 season on Oct. 11 against Wellington Phoenix in the New Zealand capital.
