Red Bulls' Wright-Phillips doesn't know about Bournemouth rumours

New York Red Bulls forward Bradley Wright-Phillips says he's in the dark regarding rumours that he could be loaned to Bournemouth during the January transfer window.

Speaking to MLSsoccer.com, the record-breaking 30-year-old revealed he doesn't know anything about a possible move to the Premier League.

"I don't know anything about it," Wright-Phillips said after training on Friday. "I don't know."

For his part, Red Bulls coach Jesse Marsch admitted he's heard the talk, but has yet to discuss anything with the player as his team readies for the second leg of their Eastern Conference final.

"I haven't even spoken with Brad or Ali [Curtis, Red Bulls sporting director] about that, so that may give you some indication," said Marsch.

"I'm not surprised that there are teams that are interested in him, but that hasn't even been part of the discussion. We've all been focused on [Sunday's match]."

The Red Bulls will host Columbus Crew SC at Red Bull Arena on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. (Fox Sports 1).
