Luuk de Jong has been called up to the Netherlands squad for their forthcoming internationals after Nigel de Jong had to withdraw because of a hamstring injury.
The Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) announced on Monday that AC Milan midfielder De Jong would not be available for Wednesday's friendly against Mexico and Sunday's Euro 2016 qualifier against Latvia.
A KNVB tweet read: "Nigel de Jong signs off with a hamstring injury. [Coach Guus] Hiddink to decide later today about a possible replacement."
