Former Barcelona and LA Galaxy forward Dos Santos is the best known player taking part, with Tigres legend Guzman sure to create some banter with his inimitable style and sharp tongue.

Amongst the other names involved will be Leon's Angel Mena, Mexico international Cesar Montes with Monterrey, America's Colombian international Nico Benedetti, Gerardo Arteaga for Santos Laguna, Alan Mozo for Pumas, former D.C. United forward Luciano Acosta with Atlas, Fernando Beltran representing Chivas and ex-Atlanta United defender Leandro Pirez-Gonzalez taking control of Tijuana.

The Clasico Nacional between Chivas and Club America will take place on May 24, with the Clasico Regio featuring Monterrey and Tigres on May 23 and the Clasico Tapatio involving Chivas and Atlas on May 10.

The regular season of the e-tournament is set to end on June 7, although no dates have yet been published for the playoffs.

The real Liga MX is currently on hold "until further notice" as the world battles the coronavirus pandemic, with the league suspended after round 10 of matches of the 2020 Clausura concluded on March 15.
