Mexico, Chivas legend Benjamin Galindo hospitalized after stroke

Former Chivas star and ex-Mexico international Benjamin Galindo remains hospitalized after suffering a stroke.

Galindo, who serves an an assistant coach for the San Jose Earthquakes, was in his native country with his family following the MLS suspension due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Galindo's son tweeted that his father's surgery went well.

"We are very optimistic but we need to vigilant during these next 72 hours," Benjamin Galindo Jr. said.
