Marseille midfielder Abou Diaby is baffled by Stade Velodrome woes

Abou Diaby has said he finds it hard to work out why Marseille have not been able to win a Ligue 1 home game since September.

Marseille have gone a club record 15 games without a league win at the Stade Velodrome after a 1-1 draw with Nantes on Sunday.

Their last success came against Bastia on Sept. 13, and former Arsenal midfielder Diaby told reporters: "That's seven months that we haven't won in.

"It's true that it's terrible for everyone -- for us, the club, the supporters.

"Once again we were really keen to return to winning ways. It wasn't the case.

"You have seen that even I have trouble explaining it. I don't know what it's linked to."

There was a subdued atmosphere on Sunday, with Marseille not allowed to have fans behind the goals as punishment for crowd trouble during the draw with Bordeaux.

They played the majority of the second half with 10 men after Alaixys Romao was sent off, but clung on for a point that keeps them five points above the relegation zone with three games left.

Overall, it was a lethargic performance in the first league match since Michel was relieved of his duties as coach.

The game was only Diaby's fourth appearance for Marseille since joining the club in July.

He hobbled off midway through the second half with an ankle problem but said: "The ankle turned when I landed after a jump. I don't think it will be too nasty. It's a bit painful but I think it will be OK."
