Rashford's Man United scoring run to continue - Maguire

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has warned the rest of the Premier League that Marcus Rashford's goal spree isn't finished.

Rashford netted twice in the 4-0 win over Norwich on Saturday to make it 19 goals in his past 23 games for club and country. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side face Liverpool and Manchester City before the end of January, and Maguire said he thinks Rashford's run will continue.

"I'm pleased for him this year that he is starting to get the goals he deserves, and hopefully he has not stopped yet," Maguire said. "He has a few more in the tank from now until the end of the season.

"He's a top player with top quality. I can remember one of the first sessions when I went to train with England, he really stood out to me there -- his ability on the ball, his technique. He has everything to go and have a career at the highest level."

Victory over Norwich at Old Trafford helped United bounce back from a heavy defeat to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup. Despite a mixed season so far, Solskjaer's team are still within touching distance of the top four, but Maguire said they will have to cut out the poor performances if they want to qualify for the Champions League.

"Our problem has been inconsistency," he said. "We have played two good games and one bad game, and it has not been good enough in terms of that.

"We are not getting carried away. It was a good performance [against Norwich], clean sheet, win, but we have to go again. If we put a few wins together on the bounce, we will have every chance [of finishing in the top four]."

United are back in action on Wednesday when Wolves visit Old Trafford for the FA Cup third-round replay. Maguire picked up a hip injury during the first game at Molineux but has declared himself fit after completing 90 minutes against Norwich.

"I had a problem with my [hip] muscle, but it was only a small muscle, and I normally recover quick and can play with a bit of pain," the England centre-back said.

"I'm alright now and got through the game unscathed. So, now I feel good and ready to go again."
