Man Utd's Marcus Rashford dreaming of goal vs. Man City at Old Trafford

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has said that scoring at home in a derby against Manchester City would be his "dream goal."

United are preparing to face City at Old Trafford in the EFL Cup fourth round on Wednesday, looking for a response after their 4-0 defeat at Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.

Rashford, 18, scored the only goal at the Etihad Stadium in his first Manchester derby in March, but he had to settle for coming off the bench and failed to find the net when City won 2-1 at Old Trafford in September.

When asked to name what his dream goal would be, Rashford told Inside United: "It would be a home goal against City, definitely. Scoring away was a massive moment as well, for me, so I can only imagine what a home goal would be like."

Remembering the winner at the Etihad Stadium, when he left former City defender Martin Demichelis trailing, Rashford said: "There were two times before when I got on a one-v-one with him [Demichelis] and he just nicked the ball off me. I knew what I needed to do the next time I got the ball, so I did it.

"Then I was against the keeper [Joe Hart] and it was just about relaxing, composing myself and that was what I did. After it went in, the fans were too far away, but it was a good feeling with everyone coming towards you."

Rashford was a key man in the last round of the EFL Cup against Northampton Town as he came off the bench in the second half while the score was 1-1 and netted a goal to help United win 3-1.
