Man United's Zlatan Ibrahimovic: 'We have something big going on'

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said that "something big" is happening at Manchester United and things will become even more interesting if Paul Pogba joins the club.

The Swedish striker had a dream start to life as a United player as he scored from a scissor kick in the fourth minute of his debut against Galatasaray in Gothenburg, Sweden. That gave United a 1-0 lead and, although they fell 2-1 behind by half-time, Jose Mourinho's men went on to secure a 5-2 victory.

Ibrahimovic said: "It looks very interesting. Let's see if Pogba will also come, then it will be even more interesting. We have something big going on."

Ibrahimovic was given a warm welcome by the fans as he retuned to his homeland of Sweden. He played 45 minutes and, afterwards, United captain Wayne Rooney said that the former PSG striker has an aura and can be expected to produce "many more" moments of magic next season.

Ibrahimovic believes that he has the Midas touch when it comes to playing in Sweden and he relished the opportunity. The 34-year-old said: "It was a good start and fantastic to score my first goal for United in Sweden. I had good support. This is my country. It is impossible to fail in my country."
