Manchester United train at 6:30 a.m. following 11-hour flight from China

Manchester United's players trained at 6:30 a.m. BST on Tuesday following an 11-hour flight back from China on Monday night.

United's chaotic tour included a 4-1 thrashing against Borussia Dortmund on Friday followed by a scheduled match against Manchester City being cancelled on Monday due to the state of the pitch.

The training session lasted for two hours, at the club's Aon Training Complex in Manchester, and afterwards manager Jose Mourinho praised his squad's professionalism.

The United manager told the club's official website: "They are a great group of boys and the intensity of the session shows they are very professional in their outlook."

Marquee signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic will join training later in the week with United's next game being a friendly against Galatasaray in Gothenburg on July 30.
