Young believes Manchester United still have a shot at the Premier League title

Manchester United winger Ashley Young has claimed his team-mates have their sights set on much more than a top four finish this season, as he claims they can still get into the mix to win the Premier League title.

United's 2-1 win against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium moved Louis van Gaal's men into fourth position in the table -- 13 points behind league leaders Chelsea -- in a season when all at Old Trafford are prioritising a return to the Champions League for next season.

However, Young suggests the rising confidence among Van Gaal's players means they have their sights set on more than just qualification for Europe's elite competition in the months ahead.

"I think the manager has said obviously we want to break that top four, but you know players and staff at the club, we want to win the league title." said Young, in quotes appearing in the Daily Mirror.

"The manager wants to achieve massive things, he wants the club to get back to winning titles, and we're no different to that.

"You know the players have bought into that philosophy since pre-season and that's exactly what everyone is doing. We're all pulling in the right direction, pulling in the same direction and everybody is leading that charge up the league.

"I think he [Van Gaal] has got that aura. You know he's got that presence out on the training ground and the training pitch.

"He believes in people, he gives you that belief, he's an honest man and he just wants everyone to go out there and do well."

United's attacking options look set to be boosted for the visit of Hull to Old Trafford this weekend, with striker Radamel Falcao back in full training after a frustrating spell on the sidelines.
