Man City's Kelechi Iheanacho enjoying learning from Sergio Aguero

MANCHESTER -- Kelechi Iheanacho is delighted with Sergio Aguero's start to the season, even if it makes it harder for him to break into the Manchester City team.

Aguero has started the new campaign in blistering fashion, scoring six goals in City's first three games, including a hat trick in the Champions League playoff first leg at Steaua Bucharest.

Iheanacho is expected to make his first start of the season for City in Wednesday's second leg, with manager Pep Guardiola set to rotate his players following the 5-0 win in Romania last week.

The Nigeria international is now seen as the second-choice striker at the Etihad Stadium and says he is learning from teammate Aguero as well as new City boss Guardiola.

"I think Sergio is a great striker, everyone knows that," Iheanacho told a news conference. "He has a great quality. I am learning from him as well, it's not any pressure for me to play.

"I play alongside him. I will keep working, whenever I get my chance I will do my best for the team, work with the team. It's not any pressure that he's in good form this season because he always does very well."

Iheanacho has now overtaken fellow striker Wilfried Bony in the pecking order at City, with the Ivory Coast international left out of the matchday squads for the first three games of the season.

It represents a huge step for the 19-year-old, who only made his first-team debut for City 12 months ago.

But Iheanacho, who last week signed a two-year contract extension, says he does not feel any extra pressure.

"It's a dream come true to play last season and do great things for the team," he said. "I will be happy to achieve more this season as well.

"It was a great feeling last season to score my first goal against Crystal Palace and play against Real Madrid in the Champions League. There is no pressure at all from my side. I need to keep working hard -- no pressure at all."

Guardiola has praised Iheanacho's talent and the teenager says he is enjoying trying to meet the Spaniard's high demands.

"It's a very big different style of play," Iheanacho said. "He has brought his own style, it is amazing.

"It's a big challenge -- you need to really work hard to get your chance and I'm working hard to get my chance. It is a big challenge because there are a lot of players. If I'm in the team tomorrow I will do my best, keep focused and play as simple as possible and work with the team as well."
