Toronto FC and Seattle Sounders each make one lineup change for MLS Cup

Toronto FC and the Seattle Sounders each made one change to the lineups for Saturday night's MLS Cup final.

Seattle's Erik Friberg missed the Western Conference final with a thigh strain but has recovered and starts in place of Andreas Ivanschitz.

Ozzie Alonso also starts for the Sounders in midfield despite suffering a knee injury that forced him to leave the second leg against the Colorado Rapids.

Jonathan Osorio returns to Toronto's lineup over Will Johnson, who is dropped to the bench after starting the Eastern Conference final second leg. Osorio had started the first leg in Montreal over Johnson.

Both clubs have plenty of scoring power, with Toronto featuring two star goal scorers in Sebastian Giovinco and Jozy Altidore, while Seattle starts with Nelson Valdez playing in front of an attacking midfield of Jordan Morris, Nicolas Lodeiro and Friberg.

But Seattle will be without star forward Clint Dempsey, who has been sidelined since August by an irregular heartbeat.

The Sounders' ful lineup:

Goalkeeper: Stefan Frei
Defenders: Joevin Jones, Chad Marshall, Roman Torres, Tyrone Mears
Midfielders: Cristian Roldan, Osvaldo Alonso, Jordan Morris, Erik Friberg, Nicolas Lodeiro
Forward: Nelson Valdez

Toronto FC's ful lineup:

Goalkeeper: Clint Irwin
Defenders: Drew Moor, Nick Hagglund, Eriq Zavaleta
Midfielders: Jonathan Osorio, Armando Cooper, Michael Bradley, Justin Morrow, Steven Beitashour
Forwards: Sebastian Giovinco, Jozy Altidore
