Columbus Crew SC stay winless with loss to Montreal as D.C. United cruises

Hassoun Camara scored his first goal of the season to help the Montreal Impact beat winless Columbus Crew SC 2-0 on Saturday.

Camara scored with a header following Lucas Ontivero's corner kick in the 48th minute.

Kyle Bekker added a goal in the 86th minute for Montreal, whille and Eve Bush made one save for his second clean sheet of the season.

Columbus has scored just three goals in its first five games and was shut out for the second time.

Fabian Espindola and Alvaro Saborio each scored twice to help D.C. United cruise to a 4-0 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps.

D.C. opened the scoring in the 39th minute when David Ousted could not smother Chris Rolfe's shot and Espindola pounced on the loose ball.

Espindola made it 2-0 in the 54th minute after Steve Birnbaum's header following a corner hit off the crossbar and rebounded for the striker to score.

Saborio replaced Espindola in the 79th minute and the substitute scored twice in four-minute span thanks to a pair of perfectly placed through balls from Luciano Acosta.

Sporting Kansas City lost two defenders to injuries but earned a 2-0 win on the road at the New York Red Bulls.

Kevin Ellis came off shortly before halftime with a groin injury while Chance Myers had to leave the game early in the second half after tweaking his hamstring.

Referee Edvin Jurisevic waved away the Revs' penalty shouts in the 90th minute after Michael Bradley appeared to clatter into the back of Charlie Davies, and moments later Lee Nguyen scored the apparent winner but was called offside.
