Kei Kamara, Dax McCarty feature in Major League Soccer's 2015 Best XI

Major League Soccer announced its 2015 Best XI during halftime of Sunday's match between FC Dallas and the Portland Timbers.

The lineup, which is selected using nominees from MLS players, club management and select media, features the XI best players by position across the league. This year's team includes players from eight MLS clubs, with the LA Galaxy's Robbie Keane, Toronto FC's Sebastian Giovinco and Columbus Crew SC's Kei Kamara leading the 3-4-3 formation.

Luis Robles of the New York Red Bulls was selected as goalkeeper for the squad. The full squad is listed here:

Ten of the players on the team are first-time selections, with Keane having been selected in each of the last four seasons.

Six of the players in the XI played in the Western or Eastern Conference championships and, as a group, the team combined for 101 goals and 80 assists over the course of the 2015 MLS season.
