The MLS Cup conference finals are set, and the four teams now must wait to begin the home-and-home conference finals on Nov. 22. Only one of the remaining teams has previously won the MLS Cup (Columbus in 2008). New York and FC Dallas are two of the three original MLS franchises that are still in existence and have never won a title (along with New England). Each was defeated in its only MLS Cup appearance: The Red Bulls lost to the Crew in 2008, and FC Dallas fell to Colorado in extra time in 2010.
